Book Launch for When the Forest Dreams

My book launch is coming up, and it’s going to be such a fun night! If you are local, please join me on June 9th from 5–7 PM at Elicit Brewery, Manchester, CT, to celebrate. Thank you to all who have already bought tickets. In keeping with the avian theme of the book, I’m excited to share that a bird rehabilitator from Blue Moon Raptors will be there with an owl and a hawk, and she’ll tell us a little about the amazing work her organization does. We’ll also have lots of raffle items, including gift cards, a Polish cookbook, and other goodies inspired by When the Forest Dreams. I’d love to see you there!

I did a fun video with fellow author Lori B. Duff as part of her Beer, Bestie, or Banish series. It was a lot of fun, and I was happy to go back to Again and Again Back To You to answer her questions. As it has been non-stop When the Forest Dreams, I loved reacquainting myself with Again and Again Back to You, even for a short while.

Sold My First Copy!

I sold my first official copy of When the Forest Dreams. It was a delightful coincidence. I was at Powder Hollow Brewery in Deerfield, MA, and I met Laurie, who bought both of my books. We took this picture when I realized she was my first official customer. Turns out she knows She Writes Press and even authored a section of Brooke Warner’s(my publisher’s) The Magic of Memoir collaboration. It truly is a small world.
